Policies

Country Day Camp is an all -inclusive day camp designed for children ages 4 1/2 – 13. Please note that children must have turned 4 by January 1, 2024 to start camp the summer of 2024. Our oldest campers are entering 8th grade in the Fall of 2024.

Tuition includes one Country Day Camp shirt and afternoon refreshments each day. Hot lunches will be provided, free of charge, to all campers each Friday from June 24 through August 16, 2024.

All RHCDS Summer Program registrations require a 25% deposit at the time of registration. These deposits are deducted from the total price of the child’s summer bill and are non-refundable once submitted. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3:00pm on Friday, June 7, 2024. Any campers/students not paid for by 3:00pm on June 7 have the possibility of losing their spot in our Summer Programs unless a different payment plan was approved and set up by the Camp Director.

Every camper/student who attends any summer program at RHCDS must have completed the “Medical Form, Parts 1 – 4” by June 7, 2024 or they have the possibility of being un-enrolled from our summer programs. Immunization records must be provided for all Academic students who do not currently attend RHCDS. International students must submit a current TB test (taken within 3 months, prior to starting their summer program). No child is allowed to participate without completing their required forms.

The 25% deposit paid upon enrollment is a non-refundable deposit in all circumstances. If the Camp Director is advised of cancellation, prior to the start of a program, a 75% refund can be issued, or the full credit can be applied towards another summer program in 2024. If you fail to advise the Camp Director in advance, no refund will be issued for any missed or cancelled summer programs. Once a Summer Program has begun, all refunds are at the discretion of the RHCDS administration. This includes campers/students who do not appear for their program, as well as those who cease attending.

Once camp begins, the switching of camp days can only be done with the approval of the Camp Director. Camp days are not transferable between campers (even in the same family). If a camper misses a day of camp, they may choose to make-up that day later in the summer with the approval of the Camp Director. Missed days of camp, not made up by the end of summer, are not transferable to future summer programs at RHCDS and will not be refunded.
By registering in RHCDS Summer programs, I understand that the school reserves the right to deny continued enrollment to any camper/student if the school concludes the actions of a camper/student or parent are inconsistent with the establishment and/or maintenance of a positive working relationship. RHCDS Academic Programs are designed for students whose primary language is English. RHCDS reserves the right to remove students with severe language challenges. It is understood that fees will not be refunded in the case of removal from camp/school.

Extended day care is available on a drop-in basis and will be billed at the end of the summer. The charge for the drop-in service is $13.00/hour or any portion of the hour from 7:30-8:00am or 4:00-6:00pm. All campers not picked up by 3:05 pm will automatically move to extended care, but will not be charged unless they are picked up after 4:00pm. Late afternoon campers not picked up by 4:45pm will automatically move to extended care and will be charged accordingly. A late fee of $2.00/minute will be charged for children not pick up by 6pm.
