Today’s event was a celebration of the Mandarin language, food, customs, and regions.  Fifth graders have been working very hard in Mandarin class learning to say what they like to eat using Mandarin and researching about the different provinces of China and its food.  As part of their project, students have created imaginary restaurants with a delicious menus featuring some of the best dishes from different regions.  Today students presented their restaurants and showcased dishes from their provinces all prepared by themselves.  From savory crab to juicy ribs it was a fun mouthwatering and educational experience.  It was a great day and a total success!!!!!
