Every year, we have Science Day for our Lower School, Kindergarten through Grade Five. Each Lower School teacher conducts a hands-on science experiment for the students in their classrooms. Students rotate throughout the day to the various classrooms and have a science filled day learning a little bit about biology, chemistry and physics. Parent volunteers always look forward to this day because they have an opportunity to work with our students and what’s better than having In-N-Out for lunch? We conclude this day with all students gathering on the school patio to discuss what they learned.

Kindergarten students (pictured above) conducted an experiment called “Rainbow Witches Brew” in our Lower School Science lab. Simple drops of food coloring, dish soap, baking soda and vinegar created a magical concoction of foaming, bubbly brew!
