Grade 1 and Grade 5 students meet their new buddies for the first time of this academic school year.
The Buddy Program is a tradition at Country Day School. It starts in Kindergarten in which older students are paired with younger students and every student has a buddy. The buddies meet several times throughout the academic year. The older student may help the younger student to read, participate together in a math game or simply spend time together playing on the playground. The friendship is beneficial to both. They develop a friendship that continues throughout their years at Country Day.
